RAM is where the operating system stores

Storage Area

For memory, we recommend 16GB of RAM, and 8GB is the minimum. RAM is where the operating system stores all data from running applications, and it can fill up quickly. After that, it starts switching between RAM and SSD, which is slow. Most laptops under $500 have 4 or 8 GB, which combined with a slower drive can speed up the Windows laptop experience. In addition, most laptops now have built-in memory on the motherboard. Most manufacturers specify this, but if the RAM type is LPDDR, assume that it is sold and cannot be upgraded.

Some PC of hp manufacturers also sell memory and leave the internal space empty to install RAM modules. You can contact the manufacturer of the laptop or check the detailed specifications of the laptop online to confirm it. But look at the user experience on the web, where it can be difficult to get there, it may require non-standard or difficult to access storage or other pitfalls, including warranty violations.

Security

You'll still find cheap hard drives in budget laptops and larger hard drives in gaming computers, but fast SSDs have largely replaced hard drives in laptops. They can make a big difference in performance. But not all SSDs are fast, and cheap computers often have slow drives; If the laptop only has 8 GB of RAM, it can stop changing the disk and the system can crash quickly when you are working.

Get what you can afford, and if you must use a smaller drive, you can add an external drive or two later, or use cloud storage to expand the smaller internal drive. The only exception is for gaming laptops: we don't recommend using an SSD smaller than 512 GB unless you like to uninstall games every time you want to play a new game.

5G Transport Networks-

This webinar not only discusses the 2022 check results, but what drivers have been requesting and prioritizing when assessing 5G transport network results to support their 5G elaboration and future- evidence their investments.

 Watch this webinar to learn

 • Crucial 5G Transport takeaways from Heavy Reading's 5G Network Strategies Operator Survey 2022

 • What leading mobile drivers have been prioritizing when opting 5G transport results

 • How network slicing support, scalability, openness, robotization and other attributes are being taken into consideration in the design and planning of 5G transport Ciena networks.

 • The eventuality of 5G transportation results enabling broader 5G monetization

 • From alarm collection to provisioning, polling- grounded telemetry, quiescence, and frequence and phase synchronization, the CSR demanded to robustly integrate with these different software platforms through solid and flexible northbound interfaces supporting multiple different norms. This open- by- design conception supports a broadermulti-vendor network terrain, enabling the relinquishment of stylish- in- strain tackle and software platforms throughout the network.

 • Another area emphasized as essential was timing and synchronization, which was regarded as vital to help deliver better RAN performance while allowing the MNO to address different timing distribution infrastructures set up across their different requests and regions. Routing complication was also crucial to managing with the different scripts and strict subcaste 3( IP) specifications.

 • The focus on data- driven robotization permeates all aspects of the network. From the formerly mentioned integration with the multiple being unity and monitoring systems to the care of opting transport platforms able of completely supporting unborn network slicing executions, automated and assured quality of service is a clear precedence in this network, and a principal value of 5G services. For a deeper dive into the paths and eventuality of 5G robotization, check out the multiple coffers and references on Blue Planet's website.

 • The path to 5G success is different for each driver

 • This assiduity- leading MNO named Ciena's open, scalable, and automated 5G network results to help them realize their 5G network vision. Their conditions and decision- making process can help enlighten other drivers facing analogous challenges in turning their unique fancies into a profit- generating reality.
